ION-X Delivers Three HALO-100X Thrusters for Upcoming Space Missions
ION-X has reached a new industrial and technological milestone with the delivery of three HALO-100X ionic liquid electrospray thrusters from its clean room. The propulsion systems will be integrated into the following upcoming missions:
– OPS-SAT ORIOLE for C3S, supported by the European Space Agency’s ARTES ScyLight programme;
– SYNDEO-10 for EnduroSat and ESA, supported by the Horizon Europe Cassini programme;
– OBSERVA-1 for Plan-S.
The milestone reflects the continued maturation of ION-X’s internal production, testing and quality processes. From assembly in clean-room conditions to acceptance testing and preparation for integration, each delivery contributes to strengthening the company’s ability to support satellite manufacturers and operators with reliable propulsion systems.
