VALUE TO
YOUR MISSION
VERSATILITY
Our thruster technology will give you the opportunity to configure in flight the thrust / ISP ratio. For high energy manoeuvers such as in-orbit insertion, inclinaison plan change, or de-orbit / re-entry, the thruster can be configured to « boost » mode with high thrust and lower ISP. For less demanding manoeuvers such as station keeping or drag compensation, the thruster can be configured to « endurance » mode with high ISP and lower thrust.
EXTENDED LIFE
DURATION
The unmatched ISP and overall efficiency of our electrospray design will allow you to extend the life duration of your assets in low Earth orbit by a significant factor. The business case behind this life extansion factor will more than offset the implied propulsion system switching costs. By fighting unnecessary satellite obsolescence, ION-X will contribute to the global effort to reduce our environmental footprint.
VECTORING
CAPABILITES
The geometric adaptibility and matrix design of our propulsion slabs will offer the ability to perform vectoring boosts if required. Alternatively, propulsive slabs can be split into several modules and spread across the spacecraft geometry to answer specific vectoring requirements.
