ION-X has signed a commercial agreement with Univity (formerly known as Constellation Technologies & Operations) to provide the HALO-MAX thrusters for their uniShape mission, a key preparatory step for its uniSky project, a Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) constellation designed to deliver a worldwide high-speed, space-based 5G-NTN connectivity. The HALO-MAX is the newest product of ION-X, showcasing an extended ionic liquid tank and building on the heritage of the HALO-100X which successfully flew in LEO earlier this year.
