ION-X has been awarded the Innov’Up Leader PIA project, a regional support framework set up to foster innovation across a wide range of sectors and provide financial support to startups developing disruptive and strategic technologies. This project, operated by Bpifrance in the scope of the France2030 regional investment plan, is funded by Région Ile-de-France and the French Government, with the support of ASTech.

With an estimated budget of approximately 1M€ and a duration of 24 months, this project will enable ION-X to further enhance the performances of its ionic thruster and to develop a tailored version answering the needs of the smallest commercial satellites available on the market.
